PowerStorm 300/350 graphics support

The PowerStorm 300 and the PowerStorm 350 are based on the REALimage 2100 architecture from Evans & Sutherland. The PowerStorm 350 has additional features and provides stereo viewing capabilities at screen resolution and refresh rates of up to 1280x1024 at 120 Hz with a maximum non-stereo resolution of 1900x1200 at 75 Hz.

Support for the PowerStorm 300 and the PowerStorm 350 graphics cards on Tru64 UNIX is provided via the PowerStorm 300/350 UNIX Graphics Support layered product kit.

The PowerStorm 300/350 graphics support software requires an OPEN3D Product Authorization Key (PAK) to enable OpenGL (3D) features in the X server.

The PowerStorm 300/350 graphics support software includes support for the OpenGL V1.1 and GLX V1.2 standards.

Multiple PowerStorm 300/350 graphics cards may be used in the same system. The number and configuration of PowerStorm 300/350 cards that are supported varies by system. See the system's QuickSpecs for details. PowerStorm 300 and PowerStorm 350 cards may be mixed in the same system, but PowerStorm 300/350 cards may not be used with any other types of graphics cards in the same system.
