Advanced Printing Software for Tru64 UNIX is based on Xerox Corporation's PrintXchange product, collaboratively developed by engineers at Compaq, SunSoft, and Xerox. PrintXchange is a client/server printing system and is intended for use in workgroup and enterprise environments. It is based on the ISO/IEC 10175-1 Document Printing Application (DPA) standard, and the POSIX 1387.4 Printing Interfaces standard.
